This is a hand axe commonly found on farms for chopping the heads off of chickens and splitting wood.
Battle axes are one-handed weapons with a single wide blade made for hacking through ones enemies.
A heavy cast-iron ball on a length of chain attached to a wooden handle which is just a bit longer than the chain itself.
This is a long snapping whip used more to intimidate than do damage. It comes in handy when a short rope is needed.
Sometimes known as a "Short Chain" this is a three foot long length of ordinary chain which is short enough that it can be wielded with one hand.
Unlike other chains, the hammer-chain is an actual weapon. It’s a six-foot long length of light chain with two metal handles on either end. The handles are what normally strikes an opponent for damage.
This is a ten foot length of ordinary chain. It has decent reach when swung around but needs to be wielded with two hands.
A club is a big chunk of wood, wielded with one hand, and about as long as its wielder's arm.
A cudgel is a short club, usually only about as long as its wielder's forearm.
Daggers are double-edged knives balanced for throwing. No self-respecting cut-throat should be without one.
A flail is a mace with a length of chain connecting its head to the shaft. It is not as light as a nunchuck nor as heavy as the ball and chain.
If a spear is a knife on a stick, then a glaive is a short sword on a stick. While it can be used for stabbing it was made to deliver a slashing stroke, taking advantage of length and leverage to deliver some wicked blows.
The Halberd is an ornate pole-arm with various spikes and blades sticking out of it in all directions. Halberds are a favorite of palace guards for looking both official and vicious at the same time.
This is your typical clawed hammer, more a tool than a weapon.
A war hammer looks a bit like a regal sledgehammer. Its head is not as big as an actual sledgehammer but the length of its shaft does come close.
A knife is more a tool than a weapon. Unlike a dagger, knives have a single edge and are not balanced for throwing.
Lances are long stout spears designed to be used with one hand on horseback. They do not work nearly as well without a galloping horse beneath you.
A mace is essentially a club with a flanged metal head.
Combine a club with a bunch of spikes and you have a Morning Star. Anyone hit by one will be seeing nothing but stars, hence the name.
A nunchuck is a light flail where both ends are a handle. They are popular because of just how easily they can be hidden inside a jacket or possibly not even recognized as a weapon. Crash while using one and there is a very good chance you just hit yourself.
This huge two-handed axe has a pair of blades facing in opposite directions. The extra weight of the weapon causes it to deliver a stronger if somewhat slower blow. When one blade dents just flip it around and continue hacking with the other side.
A quarterstaff is as long as its wielder is tall. It is made from a fire hardened branch that’s a bit thicker than the standard spear shaft. They are a favorite among travelers for their cheap price and double duty as a walking stick.
A scepter is essentially a lighter, gaudier, form of mace. It's not meant to be used as a weapon but will work as one in a pinch.
The scimitar is a sword of the exotic realms. Slightly curved, light yet strong, it doesn’t do as much damage as a normal sword but is still nothing to laugh at.
A knife on the end of a stick that is designed to be used with one hand or two. Spears have been around since the dawn of time. Many have tried to improve on the design, few have succeeded.
This is a Ball and Chain where the ball is lighter but covered in spikes.
The typical sword is a blade of steel forged a little bit longer than the reach of its wielder from fingertips to shoulder.
Short swords occupy a middle zone between knife and sword. The blade is as long as its wielder's fore-arm from elbow to fingertips. While it does not do as much damage as a normal sword it is far easier to hide.
A trident is a spear with three blades on its tip. The heavier head causes it to hit with greater force but because it can't run someone through it does less lethal mixed damage.

A blowgun is a wooden pipe that can be loaded with a dart and fired with a strong breath of air.
The bow is often called a short bow to separate it from the long bow. Size-wise a short bow is typically half the height of its archer.
The composite bow uses a re-curved shape and complex wood laminate to pack the power of a long bow into the body of a short bow. They are made largely for use on horseback. Unfortunately, composite bows are fragile and very expensive.
A long bow is often as tall as its archer. They are a rare find outside of a battlefield. Many consider them too large and cumbersome for daily use.
A steel bow is not entirely made of steel. It is a composite bow that incorporates flexing bands of metal. It is more durable than a normal composite bow and packs a harder punch, but the uneven flex of its metal bands greatly stunts its range by making it hard to hit with.
A clockbow is a light crossbow with a complex spring and cog-driven cocking mechanism hidden in its stock along with an ammo reserve of six crossbow bolts. Pulling the cocking mechanism back draws the string. Pushing it forward lifts a bolt into place. The result is a crossbow that can be used six times before needing a reload, firing once per round. Gnomes love these things and are believed to have invented them.
This is your standard crossbow. The pull is strong enough to pack a punch yet not so stubborn it cannot be cocked by holding the crossbow with one hand and drawing the string back with the other.
The arbalest is the heaviest crossbow that is not a siege weapon. Unlike other crossbows, it comes with a windlass permanently mounted on the stock for cranking back the corded wire it uses in place of a string.
A heavy crossbow comes with a stirrup beneath its bow which is braced with a foot so both hands can be used to pull the string up and lock it in place.
The crossbow pistol is easy to conceal making it a favorite among thieves, assassins or any other nefarious person with a dose of poison to deliver. Needless to say, most authorities consider them thieves tools.
A rock crossbow is a normal crossbow modified to chuck rocks instead of bolts. A rock crossbow can fire a quarrel but it makes for a hard shot.

You do not throw an atlatl, it is a throwing stick used to fling arrows, primitive yet dependable.
It does not get much simpler than this. A big rock you hoist back with both hands and chuck at your enemy.
A caber is basically an uprooted tree you toss at your enemies. While it can be effective it is not exactly portable.
A javelin is a light spear made to be thrown.
It's big, it's heavy, it's wood.
Better than bad it's good!
Drop one on your enemy's head today.
A decent-sized rock that fits into the palm of your hand.
Shuriken are blades made for throwing. They look like a metal snowflake with an attitude problem.
A sling is a leather tong that uses centrifugal force to send stones rocketing towards your enemies.
The staff-sling is an atlatl that flings rocks instead of arrows.
